ATP-touren rullar vidare

Wednesday, February 1st, 2012

Roddick challenges Federer, Söderling in crucial clash with Murray (ATP Final)

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

The ATP World Tour Final in the 02 Arena in London starts with a cracker when Andy Murray clashes with Robin Söderling in what can be a decisive match to go through from the group where Roger Federer also is favorite to claim the title.

Rafael Nadal is the player to beat in the other group and he faces Andy Roddick in his opener – Roddick who can well be an outsider for the title at 20 times the money.

But Federer to win it all at three times the money - maybe that is the wisest bet of them all!

Don´t miss the preview as the top-8 tennis players in the world prepare to battle it out.

Rafael Nadal, the king of clay

Saturday, May 1st, 2010

After winning the ATP 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo on April 18th many of us hold Rafael Nadal as the favorite for the title in the ongoing ATP 1000 tournament in Rome. The crowned king of the red clay is the defending champion and has won the tournament four times, 2009, 2007, 2006 and 2005.

Nadal has reached the quarterfinal in the 2010 years edition of the tournament in Rome and will play Stanislas Wawrinka for a spot in the semifinals. The first seeded world number one Roger Federer surprisingly lost against the Latvian player Ernst Gulbis in straight sets in his first match of the tournament. Gulbis has now reached the quarterfinals and will face Feliciano Lopez, the always dangerous serve and volley player from Spain. Jo-Willfried Tsonga (France) is currently playing against David Ferrer (Spain) in the third quarterfinal. Fernando Verdasco (Spain) defeated the world number 2 Novak Djokovic (Serbia) in a close affair over 3 sets and will face the winner of Tsonga and Ferrer in the semifinal. Verdasco had no chance against Nadal in the Monte Carlo ATP final just a few weeks ago where he just managed to win one game. Could he be able to take his revenge in Rome or will Nadal raise the trophy again? Find all odds and try our livebetting on www.expekt.com

Djokovic chasing Nadal in the ATP tennis in Monte Carlo

Monday, April 12th, 2010

Last year Nadal was in top of the world rankings, and was considered a favorite in every competition held on clay. But after he was injured in the French Open 2009 Djokovic passed Nadal and is now the 2nd ranked player in the world beating Nadals 3rd place.

The French Open 2010 is getting closer and Monte Carlos ATP is going to be the big test of Nadals shape prior the second Grand Slam tournament this year. The title was Nadals between 2005 and 2008 before Robin Söderling stopped him in 2009.

The final is settled for Sunday 18th April, and we’re guessing a lot of people are hoping for a replay of last years final between Nadal and Djokovic. But the way to reaching the final isn’t easy with a starting field including Cilic, Tsonga and Verdasco, solid players which very well can reach the final as well. Who do you think will lift the bucket in Monte Carlo this year?
