Manchester City and Juventus are in focus this Wednesday as the group phase in Europa League enters its decisive stage.

City is favorite at home to Salzburg while mighty Juve need a win away at Lech Poznan and Richie Sheridan likes the odds on the Turin side, paying 2.05 to win in Poland.

Meanwhile, St Andrews prepares for a tense derby as Birmingham clashes with Aston Villa. This will surely be a tight and goal-shy affair and Richie is up for 2.95 on Villa to win this Carling Cup quarter-final.

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

Crisis ridden Liverpool are facing a tricky away match at Napoli in Europa League this Thursday and Jonathan Deeley believes that Roy Hodgson will get an increasing headache from this trip to southern Italy (no, not from the heavy red wine). He backs Napoli to win 1-0 and 2-0 at six and eight times the money respectively with Liverpool looking to rest both Gerrard and Torres.

Richie Sheridan meanwhile has full faith in Borussia Dortmund at home to Paris SG at 1.75 in odds and picks that as his bet of the day.
